Data handling
What AppThentic reads, what it stores, and how you correct or remove it.
What AppThentic reads
Only the sources you connect: code and pull requests, tickets, docs, threads, support tickets, database schemas, PDFs and meeting transcripts. Reading is read-only. See Reading your systems.

When AppThentic runs in your infrastructure and om is hosted by AppThentic, the requests om works on go to AppThentic’s servers. Everything in the table above still stays in your infrastructure. See Deployment.
AppThentic stores links to source material and the parts it needs as evidence. Your systems remain the source of record.
A screen shared with om can show customer data. Recordings, voice notes and transcripts follow the same access rules and retention as everything else in Organization Memory.
Correcting and deleting
- An owner can correct an answer at any time. The correction is recorded with the date.
- A single fact can be deleted from Organization Memory without affecting any other fact or retraining anything.
- Disconnecting a source stops AppThentic reading it.
Personal data
